Back in April I had the pleasure of providing vintage china for a lovely wedding at 1812 Hitching Post in Harmony NC. I had never been there before but I heard great things, and well it certainly was delightful! It's is a beautiful venue complete with a rustic yellow house, manicured lawns and simply beautiful grounds for a wedding. I worked closely with the Mother of the Bride for this wedding and she was such a delight. Both the bride and mother of the bride wanted the full vintage works, from appetizer plates, dinner plates to teacups and cake plates. The place settings turned out lovely, especially paired with all the colorful decor and favors that they picked out. It truly was a beautiful day and I even got to be a guest too! All professional photographs are by the team at 1812 Hitching Post.
Back in March I had the opportunity to be a part of the Rural Hill Bridal Show. I must say we were so lucky with the weather, as around this time it was so unpredictable we just didn't know if it was going to rain, shine or even snow! Well, the weather turned out for the better and I do believe it was one of the hottest days of the year so far, a perfect spring day for the bridal show! Lauren from Rural Hill did a wonderful job of setting everything up so brides could really see the services on offer from local vendors. Food and drinks were complimentary and there were plenty of door prizes! I styled my table so brides could really get a good idea of the versatility of it, I added a lot of shabby chic purple elements and I think it went together really well! I was very fortunate to have Stacey from Willow Branch Flowers and Design do all my flowers for me, they were perfect and it all went so well together! It was perfect day!
Below are some fabulous pictures from the event, what a fantastic night it was! Well hello! The time is finally here! My first blog post! I've been meaning to for such a long time, but my goodness does time get away from you! Over the next couple of weeks I am going to reflect on a few fun moments from the past months. It's been a busy and active year and there has been some pretty fabulous events and photoshoots that I would like to share, so here goes, lets start with the The Big Fake Wedding back in February! The Big Fake Wedding Well, what a fabulous event this was! When I first got into the business of renting vintage china, I looked into plenty of bridal shows that I thought interested me, the main one was The Big Fake Wedding. It is a bridal show alternative complete with vow renewal, dinner and dancing. What really stood out was there goals, to promote small businesses, inspire brides and grooms, and encourage solid marriages. When I watched the marketing videos I knew that this was completely something that I wanted to be a part of! The ladies at The Big Fake Wedding were so lovely and personable and I absolutely loved my time there, so much fun! It was so great working with such talented Charlotte vendors and getting to see all the amazing services they can offer brides and grooms in the Charlotte area! |
