Ahh Lewes, you are a feast for the eyes, steeped in American history with your quirky cute old buildings, cafe's and shops, Lewes is definitely a place to be visited!  My favorite thing to do is visit Second Street and go in all the cute and adorable shops that it offers.  The one place I absolutely adore and insist on eating breakfast at, is Nectar Cafe and Juice bar, I swear this place makes me weak at the knees! For someone that loves vintage china, their vintage plate wall is...well marvelous! The vintage aprons are just one of the lovely touches to the detail that they have put into to this cafe.  

Visit Edie Bees Confection Shop for the sweet tooth you have! 

The buildings are just beautiful, I definitely recommend Half Full for a nice glass of wine and even a pizza, totally delicious! 

My husband and I had a little mini vacation up in Leesburg VA and Lewes DE in April.  I was determined to check out all the neat things around as both places are steeped in history and have all the quirkiness that I crave when roaming the streets.  Of course I had to pay a visit to Aylesbury Tea Room in Leesburg and have a Cream Tea,  the couple that own the tearoom are English and offered up a nice pot of Yorkshire brew, that put a smile on my face immediately. We had lovely fresh scones which were baked fresh and huge dollops of jam and cream, absolutely delicious! I was in heaven! It's definitely a must when visiting the area, my suggestion is go for a nice lunch and then treat yourself to a Cream Tea afterwards, save room!
